I had a superior double room. The room included a supremely comfy bed and a massive shower offering plenty of space. The view was terrific, overlooking the gardens. The staff were kind and gave a free glass of champagne.
The door lock wasn't fully lockable from the inside. This.

i found the room to be clean and of a large size. breakfast included a good variety of choices and i found the food was well cooked (i especially enjoyed the bacon). the parking was close and the hotel subsidised it, so it was quite affordable.
the shower water pressure could have been better.

the location are central. its across from the seafront. discount parking was provided. town centre shops are only five minutes away. bar staff are good. reception staff are helpful. the room was modern and super clean.
the room heating was full blast when we arrived. i switched off the radiators and opened the window, only to close it because seagulls landed on the sill. the bed was tiny, this wasnt great for a good night sleep. the furnishings are dated.
